At Creative Learning Place, character development and safety are fundamental to the continued growth and excellence of our programs. To uphold these values, all staff members are required to participate in ongoing training throughout the year. We provide continuous in-service training and professional development in areas such as character building, effective caregiving, discipline management and behavioral disorders, Love and Logic, recognizing and avoiding child abuse, workplace peace, lesson planning and teaching techniques, cleaning procedures, and managing separation anxiety.
I am Ms. Susan Rodriguez, the founder and owner of Creative Learning Place. With over 30 years of experience working with children of all ages, and 15 years in a professional setting, I have dedicated my career to fostering growth and development. My passion for helping individuals thrive in every aspect of their lives inspired me to pursue this profession. I am deeply committed to advocating for the voiceless and providing a safe, stable environment for families from all walks of life.
Mrs. Annie Gary is the Director of Creative Learning Place, bringing over 30 years of experience in childcare to her role. She is deeply passionate about teaching young children, nurturing their growth and development with dedication and care.
We are a small, family owned child care center that is dedicated to transforming education through creativity, exploration and innovation. Our small group learning environment is designed to nurture young minds, fostering a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom. We celebrate individuality and diversity, ensuring that each student feels valued and empowered to reach their highest potential. Our team of passionate educators provides a supportive and engaging environment where students can explore their interests, develop their talents, and build confidence. We have recently been designated as a Safe Sleep Childcare Program.
As a Safe Sleep Designated Center, we are focused on safe sleep practices in our Infant room. These practices are so important for the well-being of our children. Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) may not be completely avoidable, but we are committed to use the ABCs of Safe Sleep for every infant in our care.

Rigorous training in first aid, CPR, health and safety, and child abuse prevention, creating a secure and caring environment.
The Sick Policy is strictly enforced in order to minimize the spread of germs.
Our HVAC system is cleaned/maintained, and an air purification system is installed. This eliminates allergens and provides high quality purified air.
We celebrate and embrace the unique strengths and interests of each student, providing personalized support to help them reach their fullest potential.
